Help Xavier Jackson Continue His Journey at De La Salle High School

I'm Chris Davis, owner of the historic restaurant, Lois The Pie Queen. I am raising funds for my incredible grandson, Xavier Jackson, a bright, driven, and kind-hearted 14-year-old who is currently a freshman at De La Salle High School.

Xavier is thriving at De La Salle. It is more than just a school to him, it is a place where he feels supported, challenged, and truly seen. De La Salle’s small class sizes, inclusive culture, and commitment to academic excellence have allowed Xavier to grow not only as a student, but as a young man.

Academically, Xavier has always excelled. He earned a 4.3 GPA in middle school at Rancho Medanos and is continuing to perform well at De La Salle, earning mostly A’s with a few B’s while taking on the challenges of a rigorous curriculum. His favorite subjects include math, science, history, and PE, and he loves having access to additional academic support when needed.

Athletically, Xavier is a multi-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and track, with football and track being his strongest passions. He plays wide receiver and defensive back and brings dedication, discipline, and teamwork to everything he does. He has college aspirations that include Stanford and UNC—proof that Xavier understands the importance of education alongside athletics.

But Xavier is more than grades and sports.

He is a loving grandson who enjoys baking cookies with his grandmother, baking cakes with his mom, helping at the family restaurant and assisting with catering events. He enjoys working out and playing sports with his dad, who continues to invest deeply in his sons growth and well-being, and whose unwavering love, time, and commitment have been a steady source of guidance and strength in Xavier's life. He also enjoys drawing, fashion, and expressing himself creatively, believing that when he feels confident in how he presents himself, it strengthens his confidence everywhere else. He plays the guitar, a skill lovingly nurtured by his grandfather, who would pick him up for lessons and proudly attend his concerts along with our family.

Xavier is known for his kindness, confidence, and positive energy. He helps others whenever he can, speaks up when needed, and stays organized and focused in everything he does. He is an active member of the Black Student Union, the Spartan Royal (Clash Royale) gaming club, as well as the Badminton and Volleyball Club, always finding ways to connect with peers who match his energy.

What Xavier loves most about De La Salle is the sense of belonging, the way students and faculty create space for everyone to fit in, be supported, and succeed. Unfortunately, even though our family is hard-working and deeply committed to Xavier's educational future, the tuition requirements are not within our financial capability. Xavier's first two semesters have been covered, but the ongoing tuition seems unattainable without help.

That is why we are asking for your support.

How You Can Help
We are asking our village of friends, family, and community members, to stand with Xavier at this critical moment in his journey.

Your contribution today directly helps keep Xavier enrolled at De La Salle High School, preserves access to small classes, academic support, and mentorship, allows him to continue competing in football, track, and school clubs, and ensures that financial hardship does not interrupt a young man’s momentum, confidence, and dreams.

If you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your network. Every share expands the circle of support and brings us closer to our goal.

We truly believe that when a young person is doing everything right, working hard, showing character, and striving for excellence, the community should meet them halfway.

Together, we can make sure Xavier’s story continues, right where it belongs.

Please donate today and help keep Xavier at De La Salle. Thank you for believing in his future.
