Help Xander Become A Student At Fork Union Military Academy

My name is Victoria Crolet, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my son, Xander Middleton. He’s an extraordinary 8th grader with a powerful vision for his future—and the heart, discipline, and talent to match it.

For the past two years Xander has set his sights on Fork Union Military Academy, a school that will challenge him academically, physically, and personally—preparing him for the rigor of a future career in aerospace and engineering. He’s determined to attend all four years and grow in discipline, leadership, and integrity.

From a young age, Xander has shown an unwavering passion for science, engineering, and space exploration. Three years ago he was given the incredible opportunity to attend Space Camp, where he learned how rockets are built, participated in a simulated Mars mission, and earned the Team Collaboration Award alongside his group. One of his school science projects, a propulsion engine he designed and built had caught the attention of his teacher and led to an invitation to present it at a regional STEM showcase at Mary Washington University. Xander has excelled in wrestling. He attended Liberty University's summer wrestling camp, winning second place in their region tournament. This year he won first place in the wrestling Spotsylvania county championships! He is an honor roll student for all four quarters!

What I'm saying is that Xander is an exceptional person.

Those who’ve spoken with Xander can feel his passion. He speaks about NASA with bright eyes and bold dreams—and we believe this next step will be pivotal in bringing that dream to life.

Fork Union is an incredible opportunity, but there has been some major unexpected events that have led us to potentially pull him out of attending. The cost of enrollment, uniforms, and other essentials has created a financial hurdle. As a mother, I’m doing everything I can to support his future.
