Help Wynn and Kathleen Through This Medical Crisis

Dear Friends, Family, and Compassionate Supporters,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share the urgent story of Wynn, a devoted husband, friend, and fighter who needs our help. Wynn is battling sepsis— a life-threatening condition that developed from ongoing infections—and his fight has been further complicated by a diagnosis of myelofibrosis, a rare and aggressive blood cancer. Wynn has been constantly plagued with life threatening infections that have kept him in and out of hospitals for months.

Recently, Wynn has not been able to return home. His days have been spent in hospitals and rehab centers, where he is receiving ongoing medical care. The situation is very uncertain

and filled with challenges. We are unsure of what the future holds for Wynn and his family- the financial burden is overwhelming.

Between emergency room visits, hospital stays, rehab, and treatments, the medical bills are quickly escalating. But, the costs don’t stop there. If Wynn is able to return home, he will need ongoing care. His needs will include a medical bed, home therapy, and specialized home services to ensure his viability and comfort. These expenses are crippling.

Kathleen, Wynn's devoted wife, has been by his side through it all. As a teacher in Palm Beach County, she is the sole provider for their family, but she is currently managing medical leave while still trying to support her students. Kathleen has been a leader to other teachers and a joyful contributor to the community. She continues to inspire her students and team despite her own emotional and financial challenges. Kathleen and Wynn need our help now more than ever.
