Help Wyndham Serve the People of Greece

DEAREST FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

I am absolutely thrilled to share with you that THIS DECEMBER (13-23) I have an opportunity to go on a mission trip to Greece!!

As a social work major, PEOPLE ARE MY GREATEST PASSION!!! This opportunity was shared with me in the most amazingly random/ totally God ordained of circumstances.

I was working one night at the lovely Jackson Library on IWU’s campus when my coworker stopped me in the middle of chatting and said… “Don’t freak out… but I have to tell you something”. Naturally my heart began to race as my overactive mind sprinted through every possible thing she could be gearing up to tell me. But what she said next, was 1. Way more positive than anything I was assuming 2. EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO HEAR

“Wyndham…” she said, “I am going on this crazy cool mission trip next year… and today I was praying about who else was supposed to join us on this trip… and no joke, your name and face came to mind in such a way that…” she looked at me in this stunned silence… “I need to tell you more”

I will be forever thankful for this friendship, and this INCREDIBLE opportunity that it brought into my life

After seeking the Lord through prayer, and after He called me clearly through doubt and financial fear, my heart has become increasingly burdened to serve the people of Greece.

Our specific trip focuses on caring for refugees, a passion my heart has recently found, as well as giving our time to preparing meals for the homeless, prayer walk across the city, and LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN DO IN OUR TIME THERE!!!

It is an absolute privilege that God is choosing to invite me to step into this role, and I have the honor to extend the invitation to YOU!!! ALL OF YOU!

Firstly in PRAYER,

A most powerful weapon. This is easily the most significant way you can partner with me. Our team needs specific prayer for things like -

- Safety

- Hearts of Compassion

- Inward Reflection

- God Given Perspective

- And much much more…

You are also invited to pray over the people we will be serving, the cities in Greece, and for the church division that characterizes much of the nation

Secondly, in GIVING,

I need to raise $2,000 to actively participate in this trip. This amount will cover all ministry expenses, including my accommodations. Any and all leftover funds will be given back to the local community to meet their needs in whatever way necessary! Whether it be purchasing supplies for the homeless, donating to a charity, passing out Bibles, or anything else the Lord calls us to!
