Please Donate to Help Wyatt's Family after terrible Wreck

I am Wyatt's mom. I'm starting this fundraiser because, as all mothers know, no matter the age of your children, it is so hard to watch them hurt or struggle. Two weeks ago, on March 14th, 2025, I got a phone call from my daughter-in-law that no mother wants to get. She said, "Wyatt just called and he's been T-boned, but the phone cut off right after that, so I don't know where he's at." We immediately agreed she would start at one end, and I would start at the other, as we don't live that far apart. She called me back before I came up on the scene of the accident, and I am so glad because had I seen the scene before I knew that my son was okay, I really don't know how I would have reacted.

Now let me tell you a little about how he is okay. I'll start with the material side before I go to the physical that he is going through. This was the truck that he had started his own business with, and many in Bailey, North Carolina, and Wilson, North Carolina, and surrounding areas may recognize his business name as he was a well-respected up-and-coming business owner. All Bite No Bark Land Maintenance, Tree Service, and Mini Mill, LLC has served the community well, giving discounts to senior citizens, veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers. To own his own business has been my son's dream pretty much all his life. All of his tools of the trade—chainsaws, tools, climbing ropes, and a ton of accessories—were all damaged in the truck along with him in this accident; not to mention the truck itself, which he was so excited about being so close to paying off. He also works almost full-time at a regular job as well and was also in the process of a third job, which was a dream he was pursuing of a business with his dad.

Now, as of today, he's been out of work for 2 weeks and is not sure when he'll be able to return, and as everyone knows, even just 2 weeks can put a financial strain on a family these days, and at this time, he's not been told when he may be able to go back to work.

To complicate matters, in the days since the accident, he has found out that battling with an insurance company when an accident is absolutely no fault of your own is still so very frustrating. In the meantime, the bills don't stop. He has a wife and children that he supports and, not to mention, enjoys spending time outdoors with, but he can't do so many of the things he was used to doing. The point I'm making here is how much this has changed his life in just a short time. Now his days are filled with recovering, doctor's appointments, and frustrations of not being able to do things that he took for granted and did every day. Even simple tasks like helping unload the car with groceries or dog food are now an issue. Thank goodness for his teenage son that has stepped up quite a bit. He also has a six-year-old daughter that absolutely adores her dad and the time they spend outside together going down to the creek and discovering every creature along the way. He can't do many of the things that he enjoyed with her, and it's hard for her to understand why. Of course, eventually, we hope all these things will come back to normal.

But now let's get to why I've come here. My son would give the shirt off his back to help others and at times has. He is now worried about his loss of income and how long it will take. Hopefully, it won't be too awful long, but right now, they need a helping hand. His sister and I went to breakfast yesterday morning and decided to start this for him and his family. It may be a long shot in some ways, but I know there are still good people out there that appreciate people like Wyatt. He has one of the biggest hearts and cares about people, and I can tell you that if the call was sent out like this for someone that he knew and cared about, he'd be the first to step up to help.
