This sweet boy is Wyatt. He’s a 6 year old strong warrior who was born with Congenital Heart Defect (CHD). He has been to the hospital 3 separate times last week and now on the way to the children’s hospital of Philadelphia to be admitted for further tests and procedures because he isn’t getting better.

he will need a heart cath and other procedures for his lungs and kidneys.

Wyatts kidneys are currently very sick, his heart and lungs both have a lot of fluid around them due to his kidneys being so sick. In reality when we leave Philly Wyatt could be placed back on hospice.

For the past two months we have missed a lot of work due to Wyatt’s declining health, pcp visits and ER visits. We are behind on bills due this including our mortgage. We would love for our focus to be on Wyatt during this difficult time instead of if our house and other things are going to be taken from us. If you can’t donate please please pray for Wyatt and our family.

The money will be used for bills, travel expenses and expenses while in the hospital 7 hours away.

We are currently walking a path full of unknowns.

I left the hospital with Wyatt last week with an unsettling pit in my stomach because I knew. I knew the next conversations that were to come over the next few days. Hospice. Such a damning word that lays heavy on a mama heart.

Wyatt’s heart failure numbers have doubled and his kidney function is worse. He is fluid overloaded on his lungs and heart. This is also causing edema in his abdomen and back. Which then cause him to be uncomfortable.

It’s extremely difficult to live in the “gray” area of things. Quality over quantity. Doing things for Wyatt and not to Wyatt.
