On March 11th, our world turned upside down when we discovered a lump on our beloved son's head. Concerned, we sought answers from medical professionals, but the journey ahead was filled with uncertainty and fear. Within a week, our son's lymph nodes swelled, prompting a flurry of tests including bloodwork, ultrasound, and CT scans. Despite the exhaustive efforts, no conclusive answers emerged.
As days turned into weeks, our son's condition worsened. His lymph nodes doubled in size, and on April 12th, we received the devastating news: our son has leukemia. Our hearts shattered as we learned that he was being transferred to the nearest St. Jude Clinic for further evaluation and treatment.
April 15th marked the beginning of his hospital journey, where he underwent a battery of tests including a bone marrow biopsy, blood work, ultrasound, and x-ray. The diagnosis was confirmed: Acute B-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Now, our brave warrior faces a grueling battle against this merciless disease. The treatment plan ahead includes rounds of chemotherapy, with the road to recovery stretching over the next 2 to 3 years. As parents, our hearts ache to see our son endure such hardship at such a tender age.
We turn to you, our friends, family, and compassionate strangers, for support during this trying time. Your generous contributions will help alleviate the financial burden of unforeseen challenges that lie ahead. Together, we can provide our son with the best possible care and give him hope for a brighter, healthier future.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to winning this battle against leukemia and ensuring that our son receives the treatment and support he desperately needs. From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, prayers, and unwavering support.
