Mr. Wudneh Tolcha Jiru, a devoted father of five young children, is facing an unimaginable medical crisis. After years of living with diabetes, Wudneh is now battling two life-threatening complications: both of his kidneys have failed, and he is rapidly losing his vision due to severe diabetic eye disease. He currently undergoes dialysis three times a week just to stay alive, and his wife has courageously volunteered to donate one of her kidneys in hopes of saving his life. However, the cost of the transplant, along with emergency eye surgery to preserve his vision, hospital care, travel, and post-operative medications, is far beyond what the family can afford.

Wudneh has always worked tirelessly to support his family, but now he and his loved ones are facing a challenge they cannot overcome alone. The estimated medical expenses exceed $60,000 USD, and without urgent help, Wudneh risks losing both his life and his ability to see his children grow. ውድ ኢትዮጵያውያንና ኤርትራውያን ወገኖቻችን፣

በዚህ አስቸጋሪ ወቅት ለወንድማችን አቶ ውድነህ ቶልቻ ጅሩ የሰብዓዊ ድጋፋችሁን በትህትና እንጠይቃለን።

ውድነህ ለብዙ ዓመታት ከስኳር ህመም ጋር ሲታገል ቆይቶ፣ በአሁኑ ጊዜ ሁለቱም ኩላሊቶቹ ስራ አቁመዋል፣ በተጨማሪም በሁለቱም ዓይኖቹ የማየት ችሎታውን በፍጥነት እያጣ ይገኛል። ሁለት ከባድና ህይወትን የሚያስጠሩ የጤና ችግሮች በአንድ ጊዜ ገጥመውታል።

1. አስቸኳይ የኩላሊት ንቅለ ተከላ

በአሁኑ ወቅት ውድነህ ህይወቱን ለማቆየት በሳምንት ሦስት ጊዜ የኩላሊት እጥበት (Dialysis) እያደረገ ይገኛል። ባለቤቱ ከፍተኛ ፍቅርና መስዋዕትነት በማሳየት አንዱን ኩላሊቷን ለመለገስ ወስናለች። ይህ ተስፋ የሚሰጥ ውሳኔ ቢሆንም፣ ንቅለ ተከላውን ለማከናወን የሚያስፈልገው የህክምና ወጪ ከአቅማቸው በላይ ሆኗል።

2. አስቸኳይ የዓይን ቀዶ ጥገና

በስኳር ህመሙ ምክንያት በደረሰበት ከባድ የዓይን ጉዳት (Glaucoma/NVG) ምክንያት ሙሉ በሙሉ የማየት ችሎታውን የማጣት ከፍተኛ አደጋ ላይ ነው። ልጆቹን እንደገና በብርሃን ለማየት፣ ወደ ስራው ተመልሶ ቤተሰቡን ለማስተዳደር እንዲችል አስቸኳይ ቀዶ ጥገና ያስፈልገዋል።

ውድነህ የአምስት ትንንሽ ልጆች አባት ነው። ቤተሰቡን ለማሳደግና ለወደፊታቸው በትጋት የሚሰራ አባት ነው። ዛሬ ግን እርሱና ቤተሰቡ ከአቅማቸው በላይ የሆነ ፈተና ገጥሟቸዋል።

ለኩላሊት ንቅለ ተከላ፣ ለዓይን ቀዶ ጥገና፣ ለሆስፒታል ቆይታ፣ ለጉዞ እና ለተከታታይ መድኃኒቶች ከ60,000 የአሜሪካ ዶላር በላይ ወጪ ያስፈልጋል።

ዛሬ የምንሰጠው እርዳታ ነገ የአንድ አባትን ህይወት ሊያድን፣ የአምስት ልጆችንም ተስፋ ሊመልስ ይችላል።
