Wrigley was born on November 11, 2017, and I adopted him just before his first birthday. Since then, he has been a huge blessing for me and my family. Wrigley is everything to us—he has the best personality, is full of energy, and lights up every room he enters. Our bond is incredibly strong, and it’s hard to put into words just how much he means to me. He is smart, loving, gentle, and amazing with kids. Through tough times, Wrigley has been my comfort and a loyal companion to my entire family.
Recently, Wrigley was diagnosed with stage 3 soft tissue sarcoma, the most aggressive form of this cancer. After a mass was removed from his paw and cancer was confirmed, we had x-rays done to check for metastasis in his lungs. Thankfully, the doctors saw no signs of spreading, making him a good candidate for radiation treatment. Wrigley will begin a treatment plan of 18 radiation sessions on his paw, starting April 27, 2026. The road ahead will be tough, but his doctors are hopeful that with treatment, he can live a long, happy, and healthy life.
Wrigley has so much life left to live, and he is truly a fighter. I have gone through so much with him, and he has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. I refuse to give up on him and am determined to do everything I can to help him recover. We care deeply about Wrigley and know he can get through this with the right support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and means the world to us. Thank you for being part of Wrigley’s journey and helping us give him the chance he deserves.
