Worthy Brother Knights. At last night's membership meeting, it was brought to the council's attention that Dave Champion is no longer mobile. Typically he attends our meetings, other events and Mass. He suffers from COPD and requires a portable oxygen unit. The batteries on his system need to be replaced, costing $3000. He does not have this money; thus, he can no longer leave his home. Many of us are retired and understand the impact of a $3000 unplanned expense. Let's band together and help Dave rejoin our community.
