Help WOPLAH Sustain Vital HIV and AIDS Services
Donation protected
I had the privilege of being an intern and working in Mumias, Kenya with the non-profit Western Organization for People Living with AIDS/HIV (WOPLAH). WOPLAH works to promote holistic care for thousands of people living with HIV/AIDS across Western Kenya. As a result of the recent Presidential decision to withdraw millions of dollars of international aid, WOPLAH has lost a significant amount of the funding necessary to sustain their work. We ask that you please donate to help keep children in school, HIV/AIDS treatments available, clinics staffed, and people alive. Currently, many students who receive critical funding from USAID are unable to continue their education, and many clinics that work to provide Anti Retro Viral (ARV/ART) treatment to the community are shutting their doors due to the funding changes. We know that this is a challenging time for all, but we appreciate any support to help get the necessary funds to a place that means so much to us.
Asante Sana!
