Hi,
We are Carla and Samuel, and we’re writing this with broken hearts. Our French bulldog, Woody, is only 6 years old and has just been diagnosed with a large, inoperable brain tumor.
Woody is more than a pet — he is family. He’s our shadow, our little companion who fills the house with love. The way he waits at the door, his big eyes full of affection, and his gentle presence — he means everything to us.
A couple of months ago, Woody began having seizures. At first, they were mild, but they quickly became more frequent and severe. After a long and terrifying seizure that lasted for hours, he was rushed to the hospital. Tests showed what we feared most: a brain tumor, with severe inflammation and swelling.
Surgery isn’t possible. But radiotherapy could give him a chance.
This treatment could reduce the tumor, control the symptoms, and give Woody more time — time that is pain-free, dignified, and filled with love.
Unfortunately, radiotherapy is very expensive and not available where we live. The treatment would most likely have to be done in Spain. As his guardians, we want to fight for Woody — to give him the chance he deserves.
And we can’t do it alone.
We’re asking for your help. Whether it’s to help cover the cost of treatment, travel, medications or hospital stays — every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Woody the life he deserves.
Even if you can’t contribute financially, just sharing this page helps us more than you know.
Woody is strong, but love is what will carry him through.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for supporting us through this journey.
With love and hope,
Carla, Samuel & Woody
(We will be sharing updates here as Woody continues his treatment.)
