On the 12/08/2025 we woke to the worst realisation any dog owner could possibly imagine, our stray kennels had been broken into!

We are absolutely devastated, they tried to take Bella, Asher and Wispa. CCTV shows that Wispa was taken then later returned to her kennel, Asher was taken but thankfully escaped and bedded down for the night at the near by stables, he is injured, but is home safe thank god ‍ , but they have taken our beautiful Bella.

We are heart broken and desperate for her to come home. Please, please, please make her too hot to handle, our precious girl is out there somewhere and we are extremely worried about her. If anyone knows or has seen anything, no matter how irrelevant it may seem please let us know, we are begging. All our dogs are not only Woodhaven Second Chance dogs, they are our babies and we love them dearly, they really have stolen a family member of ours! Please help us bring our Bella home.

WOODHAVEN SECOND CHANCE IS A SMALL, FAMILY RUN RESCUE, since the break in we have had to scrape together nearly £4000 to increase security, this has included additional cameras, flood lights, electricians, door alarms, signage, locksmiths and other hardware supplies. This extra cost is crippling the rescue, but we cannot and will not let these thieves stop us help dogs in need, but we need a little help at the moment every pound will help us to continue our work thank you
