Help Wonder Woman Kori Defeat Charlie (Cancer)

Wonder Woman is compassionate, caring, highly competitive, outgoing, and immortal. She was born a warrior but she tries to avoid conflict. However, if pressed, she will engage in battle.

Ms. Kori Erskine, a true Wonder Woman and superhero teacher, has been forced in to battle with breast cancer. She and her trusted side kick Priscilla (her port) need an army to help them defeat the evil enemy Charlie (tumor). Kori is currently undergoing six months of chemo, cold cap therapy and countless rounds of blood work, doctor appointments and scans. After the calendar year, she’ll undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction (and possibly a hysterectomy after that).

To add to her battle wounds, her insurance operates on a calendar year. Therefore, she will hit her out-of-pocket max twice in an 8-month period. That’s a grenade on any warrior’s budget.

Kori is an amazing, generous friend to all who often works 3+ jobs throughout the year (teaching 4th grade, making/selling candles, walking on stilts at Margaritaville, dealing the WSOP and teaching summer school). She needs to rest, heal and recover instead of overworking her body to make ends meet.
