Help Won relocate her dad to an aged care

Hi, my name is Won and i’m a 24 year old only child who has an 89 year old dad. He was recently admitted into hospital during the NSW lockdown and was diagnosed with dementia. He has now been relocated to an aged care facility and needs his previous home cleared out.

He was living in public housing and has been hoarding lots of items which has made it very difficult for me and my mum, aged 64, to take care of this on our own.

 

We have both been heavily affected by the pandemic and have used most of our savings to stay afloat.

 

We are hoping to raise the target amount to pay for a home clearing service to clear out his room so someone else can move in, as it’s known that the waiting list for public housing is extensive.
