Help Women & Their Families in Gaza
Donation protected
Please donate to help us help some young women and their families (children and younger siblings) living in tents in a refugee camp in Gaza.
We are in contact with them through trusted mutual friends.
One young woman is 24 and has four younger siblings with her, they are living in tents under the wing of two older mothers and their children. She told me that before the war she was studying at university and dreamed of being a lawyer.
Another young woman is 25 and has a newborn son who is only 5 months old. Her baby son is very ill, coughing and malnourished, and she waits each day to see if she can get in to the hospital.
Basic food, water, and wood kindling cost almost $100USD per day for these families, which they need just to survive. Over half of all buildings in Gaza have been destroyed, institutions are not functioning, water and food and fuel are in short supply, and international humanitarian aid workers are being killed. The result is that to survive people have to pay exorbitant prices unofficial markets, or they will have nothing at all.
Please donate to help us keep these three young women and their families alive.
Of course we want the military assault on the people of Gaza to stop, and that requires our governments to act. But until that happens, these brave, resilient and desperate women need our help.
