Hello! My name is Cheryl, and my lovely friend is Cece, and we are addicts. We are hoping to start a new online, recovery-based, meeting for women (to start). This meeting is to be a place for people to go to recover from the addiction of drugs and/or alcohol. We plan to start off as a women's meeting, and hope to branch out into a meeting that includes women, men, and/or people of any gender with a desire to stop using drugs and/or alcohol. Currently, we do not have the income needed to cover the fees for a license to use the Zoom online platform, order key tags and possibly provide literature to newer members on our own. Anyone willing and able to donate anything to this cause, you are appreciated so very much. We have a good starting base of interested women to begin this journey. Many women interested in this group are in various stages of recovery, and truly hope to bring a loving, inclusive, safe space for women (and eventually people of all genders) to recover.
