Assalamulamu alaykum!

My name is Tashmeem Mousoof, and my goal is to raise £1000 or more to help the women in Zokigonj, Bangladesh who can’t afford basic necessities. With the funds, I can buy sewing machines and give it to people who can make an income from this.

The price of a sewing machine is £200 with 4 weeks of training. This will allow us to purchase 5 sewing machines and will be allocated to poor families who don’t have an income. With your help we can change someone’s life.

In many parts of Bangladesh, families struggle every single day just to survive. Jobs are scarce, and for many women it is even harder to find work. Some families have no one who is able to provide for them. Mothers worry about how they will feed their children, how they will afford basic necessities, and how they will support their households because there simply are no opportunities available. These are mothers who don’t have money to treat their sick child.

This includes all women in Bangladesh, our mothers, sisters and daughters. Just imagine what it’s like for them not being able to find an income.

But sometimes, all someone needs is one opportunity.

My goal is to raise £1,000 to purchase sewing machines that will be given to women in Bangladesh who want to work but have no way to earn an income. With a sewing machine, they can begin sewing clothes, repairing garments, and providing tailoring services within their communities. This simple tool can allow them to earn money, support their families monthly, and build a more stable future with dignity.

This is not just a one-time donation. This is a chance to change someone’s future.

When you help provide a sewing machine, you are giving someone the ability to earn for years to come. Every item she sews, every payment she earns to feed her children, and every day she is able to support her family will be part of your reward. This is what we call Sadaqah Jariyah which means a continuous charity. The reward continues because the benefit continues.

And right now, we are in the last 10 days of Ramadan, the most blessed nights of the year. These are nights where deeds are multiplied beyond what we can imagine. A single act of charity during these nights could be rewarded as if it was done for more than a thousand months.

Imagine standing before Allah on the Day of Judgment and seeing years of reward written in your record because a woman was able to provide for her family through something you helped give.

There is no minimum and no maximum donation. Whether you give £20, £50 or £100 and more, every contribution helps us reach the goal.
