Help Wojciech Zmudzinski get Zeus V1 bionic arm

Hello friends, family and kind strangers!
I started this GoFundMe page to help my childhood friend Wojtek. Since high school- Wojtek was always active and a star athlete.
In 1993 while working at the state railway, Wojtek, unfortunately, suffered a horrendous accident. After being hospitalized, he was left with his right hand amputated. As you can imagine, this left him not only physically but also emotionally traumatized. Shortly after this horrendous accident, Wojtek went through a series of unfortunate events. Both his parents fell extremely ill and needed ongoing support and care, and his wife announced she was leaving. Wojtek had to put his personal needs aside during these trying times, but he never lost his spirit.
Over the last 30 years, Wojtek has seen many physiotherapists but has never owned or worn a prosthetic arm due to the high costs involved. It seems to become even more difficult being dependent only on one arm with his older age.
After recently meeting up with him at a high school reunion, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to help support and fundraise in the costs of equipping Wojtek with a prosthetic arm.
On January 17, 2022, Wojtek participated in preliminary tests in Aether Biomedical, https://aetherbiomedical.com/, a prosthetic limb company specializing in mechanical and electric engineering, working to make amputees feel whole again. The results were positive. These specially designed bionic arms help regain full functionality and control. With the help of this arm, Wojtek will be able to recover use in both his arms and live a fully independent life.
The cost of the customized arm is CAD 28,000. Of course, with his single salary, this is entirely unattainable. I would love to ask for the support of friends, family, and kind individuals to help Wojtek gain his independence back.
