Help the Viel Family with Cancer Treatment Bills

Hi, my name is Shannon and I'm fundraising for my best friend Theresa's family.

Last year, just before his 40th birthday, Theresa's wonderful husband Justin was diagnosed with rare neuroendocrine cancer. It started in his kidney and spread to his liver, bones and spine. The prognosis is not good, but Justin is much younger than a typical neuroendocrine cancer patient, and he and his family are fighting it every way they can. This means that he is a candidate for experimental treatments that offer hope, but are not covered by insurance. The family is still paying off medical bills from last year's inital tests, continues to accrue bills for his monthly $2,000 Lanreotide shots, and anticipates many more expenses as Justin prepares for various procedures.

This is important to me because Theresa and Justin are good, kind people, and they have three very young, lovely boys. They are under immense stress managing Justin's medical care while trying to maintain a level of normalcy and happy childhood memories for their boys.
