In memory of Athena

Hi, my name is Victoria and I'm the very proud cat mum of our little 8 year old girl named Athena.

Unfortunately over the last few days, we have found two lumps under her chin, which have been rapidly growing and making our little monkey, very unwell.

Our little girl has gone from being a cheeky monkey, playing and asking to go out, hugging and providing companionship to being sick when eating wanting to sleep and wanting to stay away from us, due to the lumps.

She is insured, but the amount needed to find the cause and treat is more than her insurance can cover. We have a lifetime policy and do advocate insurance for animals, but in this instance it won't be enough to provide what she needs to save her life.

The vet needs to complete a CT scan, blood tests and removal of her lymph nodes, as they think she has lymphatic cancer which is rapidly growing and consuming her.

We are asking for funds as unfortunately, we don't have the funds to cover this amount as quickly as its needed.

I am neurodivergent, which means I can only work one day a week, putting all the expenses on my husband in the extremelytrying times.

I know that this is a stretch but without Athena, my mental health and overall health would become fatal. She has provided me and my husband so much and we want to provide her with the best we can and what she deserves.

Please, if you can donate anything we would be so, so thankful. All monies donated will be used for her treatment and if there is anything left over then we will be giving it to two charities, who we have had the privilege to know.
