Help with Vet Bills for My Cat, Isla

Heya! My name is Karys, and I’m asking for a bit of help to cover ongoing vet bills for my cat, Isla.

Isla has been dealing with a lot over the past year. She’s had multiple flare-ups of pancreatitis, needed enemas for severe constipation, and recently developed an ear infection that’s needed daily medication. She’s on a strict low fat veterinary diet and regular medication to manage her chronic conditions, and it’s been a constant cycle of vet visits, treatments, and special care. Due to the stress of all of this, it has caused her to lick the fur off of her legs, which she has only recently allowed to grow back.

I’ve been doing everything I can to keep up — I’m on benefits and have been paying off vet bills in instalments where I can, cutting back in other areas just to make sure she gets what she needs. But it’s getting harder, and I’m honestly exhausted and overwhelmed.

Isla has always been my little shadow — cuddly, affectionate, and full of personality. She’s brought me so much comfort and companionship. It breaks my heart to see her unwell and not be able to do more for her.

The funds I’m raising will go directly towards:

• Vet bills (past and upcoming),

• Her prescription food and medication,

• Constipation management supplies (such as Katalax, which I’ve been told she has to be kept on long term),

• Bloods and an x-ray,

• And general ongoing care.
