Hello my name is Alina and I am fundraising for my mother, Vanessa Aguirre. People that know my mom would say she is a caring, loving, strong, and charismatic person. My mom is a hardworking woman who does everything in her power to provide for her family. She recently took a travel nursing assignment in San Francisco to complete a COVID vaccine project. My mom was away from home for almost four months. We were counting down the days to have our mom back home. Within a few weeks of having her back she began to feel discomfort in her lower abdomen. My mom and I went to the ER and was examined and within two hours the results came back and she had a tumor in her right ovary. She was told to schedule an appointment with her doctor, so she did. A couple days before her appointment she began to feel excruciating pain and was rushed to the ER. She was admitted to the hospital and was scheduled for a hysterectomy. Thanks to God her surgery went well, but the Surgeon came back with some different news. He gave us the news that she had colon cancer which then spread to her ovary. A couple days after the surgery, we got the results and were told she has stage four colon cancer. 

We have full faith that she’ll get through this obstacle, simply by her undying optimism. A huge thank you to those who have shared this link or have already donated. Even sending your good vibes and prayers is greatly appreciated. My brothers and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
