Help with Utley's Medical Battle

Hi, my name is Michael Fehn and I am raising funds for my dog, Utley. Utley is very precious to our family because he is our first baby before our son was born and now they are best friends. He is a yellow labrador retriever, very friendly to everyone and every animal. About a couple of weeks ago, he got a small cut on his callus and the next morning, we woke up from his crying. His leg was swollen above the callus. We took him to an emergency pet ER right away, but we were not lucky enough to have an experienced vet over there. We ended up waiting 5 hours before Utley could be seen by the vet. The vet didn't treat his infection properly and sent him home with us. Overnight, the swelling got worse, so he couldn't even stand. We were so scared, so we took him to another animal hospital right away. They said Utley needed immediate surgery for the infected area. The surgery was successful, but the infection got in his blood. At that time, we thought we were losing him. However, we couldn't give up on him. After that, Utley started IV antibiotic treatment to fight his infection. After much prayer, Utley started getting better little by little every day. Now the vet said he needs another surgery on the necrotic (dying) tissue to remove the infection completely. This has been already a long battle for Utley and we cannot afford the whole battle. Utley is getting better each day and I cannot let him go in the middle of the battle. Please help Utley finish his battle at the hospital, so we can bring him home to play with my son again. The funds will be used for his medical cost including the upcoming surgery that we were not expecting after the first surgery and ongoing treatments that follow.
