Asking for help is something I never imagined I would need to do. I’ve always taken pride in supporting myself and maintaining my home on my own. Over the years, I’ve managed to handle repairs and updates, and I’ve worked hard to keep things running smoothly. But recently, things have become overwhelming. My son has been searching for a job for nearly a year, and with so many people applying for every position, it’s been a real struggle for him. I’ve been helping him with his rent, and in doing so, I’ve used up all of my savings and resources. Now, I’m at a point where I need some support myself.

The most urgent issue I’m facing is a giant tree in my yard. It’s healthy and growing fast, but the limbs are getting so heavy that they’re starting to break off. The tree hangs over my house, and I’m genuinely worried about the risk of falling branches damaging my roof. It’s been about five or six years since it was last trimmed, and it’s now in desperate need of professional care to keep my home safe.

On top of that, both of my toilets need repairs—the flanges are old and need to be replaced. These plumbing issues, combined with the ongoing monthly expenses and the support I’ve been providing my son, have left me feeling stretched thin. Getting help with these costs would not only make my home safer and more comfortable, but it would also relieve a great deal of stress and allow me to focus on moving forward.
