Those who i share this to will probably know the man & his family that this is for.

For as much as he was & still is full of life i still wish for his name to be kept discreet however I know with his sudden terrible news its important for me to arrange some sort of support for his partner & kids.

Throughout my time knowing the man since primary school and working in Edinburgh StJames with Laing O'Rourke, I know he himself would support someone going through such a hard time and I hope that everyone will understand how difficult it can be when such a hard for a young family to deal with illness and more.

I ask for everyone that this is shared to consider helping myself & Davie McInnes in reaching out trying to do a small part to help our dear friend at such a difficult time.

Should anyone have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact either Davie or myself. I hope you all understand the reason and importance.

Hopefully we can arrange for some solid support for all of the family at this difficult time.

Michael is in an hospice, I'm hoping to see him when I'm up.

This man has helped me from primary school and still has and will if given.

A story I'll tell is when I was my lowest, we were in the same digs and he sought about getting me presents for Xmas. He knew the basis of why I'd still have to be there and he went out his way to make me remember why I was still here.

Not only that he still persisted in trying to make his Xmas my Xmas,

When I refused out of sheer stubbornness, he made his family make a point i was there.

I was there and im happy I was there.

Forever I'm happy for all of your support.

Edit 03/03/2025 - It's with great sadness that I need to say my pal, brother and former work colleague said goodbye.

My first year away from the my kids, I walked into my room at ESJ to 3 parcels. How he managed to get 3 pics of me and my weans ill never know but he did and he got them framed and and had them there in my bed.

God Bless you Michael Trainer. You'll never be forgotten, you'll forever be remembered. ill treat my kids the way treat me. love ye brother xxx
