Hello! My name is Des and I have created this fundraiser for my sister and brother-in-law. They were recently married on September 18th and unfortunately the next few weeks of marriage were filled with doctors instead of newlywed bliss. Sierra fell ill the night of the wedding with what we assumed was just extreme exhaustion from the stress of wedding planning and the big day. We quickly realized something else was terribly wrong. She spent many days in the hospital with severe sepsis and developed pneumonia on top of the infection. She spent some time in the ICU at Olmsted Medical Center and was transferred to St. Mary's ICU at one point. We thank the Lord everyday because she was able to fight this infection off enough to come home yesterday! She is still very weak, on many medications and has a loooong road to a full recovery ahead.

Of course the world keeps turning and bills keep stacking! So, to help relieve some stress for the newly married couple I'm asking for some help! Shane had to take off multiple days without pay and Sierra will have no income for quite awhile as she regains her strength.

So, any donation no matter how big or small is GREATLY appreciated! We are truly blessed to have Sierra still here with us, continue to say an extra prayer for her (it's clearly working )!
