Help With Travel and Medical Expenses for Conner

Hi. My name is Mindy and I am mom to two amazing boys. One is a super rare super hero. His Name is Conner and he was 23 in the world diagnosed with his disorder. He also has autism and a few other health problems. That is why I am writing today. Conner's chest has been expanding since he was a tiny baby. Now he is 17 and his ribs are pushing the skin and organs. Conner has a high pain tolerance, but he now says he hurts. The doctor told us this week that it is also messing with his lung function. Conner will now definitely have to have a very painful surgery where pain can only be controlled with an epidural in Houston. We are trying to raise money to stay there for a little while until his pain is under control. When we come back Conner will then have surgery on his back. His spine is now poking out at his shoulder blade. His dad, brother and I do our best to keep him busy and his mind off pain. Pain causes seizures and those are no fun either. At this point, we just want to have a little less to worry about while we are at the hospital with our son. Conner is such a happy soul and we are blessed to have him.
