Help with transportation, food and medical expense

Hi! My name is Jackie, and Sammy G is a long time friend of mine. For those if you who may know Sam, you know that she was recently diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer. After only one year since her double mastectomy, she now has another spot where the cancer has come back.

Sam has already made multiple trips to UCSF in San Francisco to meet with her team, and as we all know these trips are not cheap. She will need to complete 12 weeks of treatment in San Francisco, and her doctors would like for her to stay close to the city to alleviate any extra traveling and stress that may come along with the long road trips. It is not an option to miss treatments, and the long road trips can come with unknown road conditions and weather. With this, it was suggested that Sam spend the time closer to treatments.

Sam is currently working with UCSF to find housing, but it is unknown how much extra this will cost, and how long it will take for Sam to receive any additional aid for food and living costs. Since she will not be working, her income will be zero. Sam has had to make some tough decisions, knowing that her sons will be effected during this time.

Sam will need much emotional support to stay positive. Please help raise some funds so that we can take away her financial stress while she receives treatment.
