Help with transportation and medical expenses

William G. Demos also known as Butch has spent most of his life dealing with kidney problems.  It was discovered when he was a child through severe pain and illness that he was only born with one kidney.   Due to this he has been seeing a kidney specialist for over 35 years.  Unfortunately that one kidney is now causing issues and has Butch on dialysis three times a week for the total of twelve hours.  

Butch is dependant on his social security income and food stamps to survive and medical bills past and current have left him in debt and he struggles to make ends meet.  He has tried going back to work but cannot maintain a job due to his medical condition.    

He has some upcoming doctor appointments in Sacramento concerning a transplant but currently has no transportation.  This also makes it difficult to attend his dialysis appointment throughout the week.  He needs a reliable source of transportation to continue to make it to the appointments to have a shot at a transplant.  He already has a live donor but with that comes the worry about expenses for both parties like travel and hotel cost plus time off work for the transplant to take place.  

We all know how expensive medical procedures can be and the cost associated around them.  Butch is both a loving father and grandfather.  He also has a passion for riding his harley around the country with his club brothers.  Given the chance he would love to continue enjoying those things in with he loves in life.  So if you can find it in your heart to help out an old biker get a few more miles in life please do.  Every little bit helps.  Thank you and God Bless.
