On Tuesday, July 16th, on her way to work, my sister Tracey Hohm-Sami was involved in a very serious car accident with a logging truck in Maple Ridge. With serious injuries she was airlifted to VGH. She is very lucky to be alive. She sustained fractures in her thoracic spine, fractures in her pelvis, a ruptured spleen, fractured ribs and a punctured lung. Lots of cuts and bruises, broken teeth and some cuts on her head.

She is still in the hospital and has a very long road to recovery. Anyone who knows Tracey knows she is a warrior and a very strong woman.
