Help with Toro’s Surgery

Hello friends and Toro lovers,
On a recent trip to the beach for a good round of fetch, Toro came home limping. Over the next couple of days, his limp turned into putting no weight on his back right leg. Because he’s a tank and refuses to show any pain, and without visible swelling, we couldn’t figure out what was going on.
With no improvement over the next couple days, we took him into the vet and confirmed our worst case scenario. Toro has a cranial cruciate ligament rupture (also known as a torn ACL).
Because of the high likelihood of his other leg having the same injury in the future- especially if he continues to limp- we need to get him surgery as fast as possible. Unfortunately, it’s a painfully expensive surgery with a lengthy recovery.
It is no fun asking for money from friends and family and we greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you so much for taking time to read this and sharing. We all love Toro and want to get him the care he deserves before he injures himself any further.
❤️
