Thor was only six years old, but he was such a big part of our family. Just two weeks ago, he started showing signs that something was wrong, and after hospital vet visit—including a trip to the vet hospital in Fort Wayne after work—we learned that his whole body was covered in cancer. It all happened so suddenly and so fast. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him down to end his suffering.

This loss has been incredibly hard on us, especially since we just moved into a new house and had to replace the front section of plumbing going into the foundation in our first week here. The unexpected expenses have left us struggling to cover Thor’s vet costs, and it’s been overwhelming to manage everything at once.
