The Tubrid Holy Well located in Millstreet, Co.Cork is a non-funded well where many people gather for their faith and to remember their loved ones. James the care taker of the well has expressed due to the cost of materials it has been quite difficult to maintain the well in which he goes over and above for as the well is always immaculate and James has been funding the well with his own income. James does not want to ask those who visit for any large donations towards the upkeep of the well. James was saddened at the thought of closing the well but couldn’t part with it as it hold such a special place in many visitors that come to the well for their faith or to remember their loved ones through a prayer, a candle or a remembrance chair that James hand makes and paints for the visitors. This is why we have decided to create a go fund me for James to help him with the upkeep of the well as this place hold a special place to our family aswell as many other families.

Any donations small or large would be greatly appreciated.
