Help with the tragic untimely murder of my uncle

The morning of Saturday 2nd October saw the tragic and untimely murder of my beloved uncle. Since the formal identification process through courts is yet to be establish, his name will be temporarily suppressed to respect the due process of the courts.

 

Islamic burials tend to happen very quickly, and it’s important that cost is something that isn’t too much of an issue, as time is the most important asset in this situation. Funeral costs will mostly be covered by family. 

 

The purpose of this Go Fund initiative is to extend an invitation to anyone who’s been in contact and willing to help in any manner 

 

Whatever funds remain will be used to build a charitable vessel back in our motherland in the memory of my uncle, in a concept called “sadaqah jaariyah”; a charity that continues to benefit people longterm. Ideas of this include wells, small orphanage or supporting an existing one and so on.

 

We will be absolute transparent about this.

More importantly, we have lost a very very important person to us in a shocking manner.

No one should have to lose a loved one like this.
