My dad, Alvaro Gomez , was the strongest man I knew . Unfortunately he contracted COVID -19  on December 11, 2020. He was determined to get better on his own and fought me to get him to the hospital. He was then hospitalized on December 18, 2020, with what has then turned into COVID Pneumonia . On December 21, 2020 the doctors told me that he was going into the ICU unit where he would be  intubated and put on a ventilator. In the ICU he fought very hard for his life , but unfortunately he lost his battle to the disease as it took over his body. On January 6, 2020 he took his last breath. He was able to have my sister and I at his bedside as he crossed to the other side . He was fortunate enough to have his brothers and sisters come and say goodbye and get to hear from lots of family members and friends before he went, making his last hours memorable. 

If you would like to donate, the funds will be going to the funeral expenses that willbe held in Utah, and what is leftover will be going to other expenses as my dad was the main provider in my household. I want to be able to provide a nice service for my dad , a King himself. If you knew my dad you know that he liked expensive elegant things, and I want to be able to do just that so we can say see you later in a way where  it fits just him . There will also be aCelebration of Life held in California, when we can do so.
