Help with the medical cost for Rick's surgery

Donation protected
Some of you may or may not know, but on March 28th on Tuesday night, Rick fell down his kitchen stairs and suffered from what was thought to be just a concussion. Thursday morning, he was rushed to the hospital and had surgery for a golfball-sized clot in the front left part of his brain, which caused the speech issues bringing him in. They took out a piece of his skull to remove the clot, and thankfully there wasn't too much swelling and they were able to put the piece back in.
As of right now, he has woken up from all of this but is understandably going to take a little while to be back on his feet and working again. He is off of his ventilator and responding and talking a little.
His fiancé, Cris Hagen, has been by his side and missing work through all of this and I know that this is going to be a major setback in everything they have worked for all these years. They are set to be married in September so anything to help with the finances will help them out in a major way.
Any updates I have will also be posted here or you can message me on Facebook, my mom and his family are going through enough right now, if we could just repect that and give them space so they can be there for him, I will will answer anyone's questions the best I can.
From my mom and papa Rick, thank you for all of your support, prayers, good vibes, whatever it was I know they are so grateful for all of the love!

Update 4/2: he's still in the ICU, but because it is Sunday, most of the doctors are on call so they are expecting to hear more tomorrow, and hopefully get him moved out of the ICU.

Update 4/3: FANTASTIC NEWS!!!
Rick is out of the ICU and will actually be discharged completely today! He isn't going home yet, he will be staying with his mom while they get some rails up for the steps at his home, and we aren't sure about when he is clear to work again.... but this is a miracle. My mom is so relieved and was finally able to sit down and eat something with me today! She didn't know about the fundraiser until it was already close to 1000, so she called me yesterday to say thank you to everyone who has helped or sent kind words. They will for sure need some help with bills in the coming weeks, so anything helps and this is a huge weight off of their shoulders while they focus on Rick fully recovering from surgery. Thank you also to everyone who has reached out to my mom to support her, even if she hasn't had the time to respond to all of you, I know she is overwhelmed and grateful for all of the love and support!
I will keep you updated on his recovery as we go

This next update is straight from my moms Facebook status, copied and pasted.

Update 4/5:
***UPDATE ON Richard D Erks

Again thank you all for the text, calls, and especially the donations!!
For those who do not know, Rick fell last week and seemed to be ok. Unfortunately he basically had a blood clot on the front left side of his brain, which also was affecting his speech. He was transported to City Hospital where he had emergency brain surgery. This was last Thursday, by Saturday morning he was off the ventilator and Talking! By that evening he was eating and getting up to go to the bathroom. Sunday afternoon he miraculously was able to be discharged! The amazing ICU staff called Rick “Their Miracle Patient” of the week
We are now at his parents for his recovery. He is continuing to get better, but as of now he doesn’t remember what happened and is still a lil groggy. He is doing better every minute. He is walking and eating on his own and talking without any issues. He mostly sleeps, which he needs to do. He appreciates your texts, but understand he might not reply. I am just asking not to call him at least for this week. Please keep the texts coming to both of us, especially me. Even if I don’t reply, I need to see all the support we have. We have a doctors appointment next Tuesday and hopefully we will know more about what we have to do next!
