Help With The Loss Of Kate Humphrey

To my friends, famiy and community, on September 14th, 2022, my oldest and most beloved friend, Kate Humphrey, lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 54. Kate had been diagnosed earlier this spring and put up a courageous fight. She leaves behind a wonderful husband, Mark Beason, and an amazingly talented and bright 13-year-old son, Everett.

Mark and Everett need your help, now more than ever, to handle the significant medical and funeral expenses along with transitioning from two incomes to one. Kate was a bright shining light in the world and a fantastic person, friend, wife and mother. She taught high school art and was beloved by all her students. Kate was my friend, but I considered her family. The photo you see above, of myself with Kate, was taken on the very day we met so many years ago.

I now ask you to please give whatever you can to help her family in their time of need.
