We appreciate your consideration as our family moves forward with the kidney transplant. Any funds raised will go to covering travel and living expenses as the surgery will be at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN (Gertie and Daniel will be there for 6 or more weeks), covering Gertie's income while she serves as Daniel's caregiver and is unable to work, and any costs of treatment which are not covered by Medicare.
