Hey I am Erianne, the granddaughter of Ramoncito Andal. Most people recognize me as their fourth child because I grew up with their love and care. Also, most people know him as “Papa R.” On August 10, 2022 he was diagnosed with pleural effusion. At first we all thought antibiotics would help, but it accumulated over two litres of fluid around his lungs. Our Papa R underwent thoracentesis procedure and was discharged days after. A couple of weeks after his thoracentesis procedure he was hospitalized again and this time there was more fluid around his lungs. Unfortunately our Papa R was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Carcinoma of the lungs at the end of September. And he will hopefully be starting chemotherapy soon.

Papa R is a very hardworking responsible head of the family, overly loving, caring, generous, and outrageous provider not just for his own family but even to extended family. And you will never hear any negative comments from him. I can still remember when I was so little, my mom would work late and Papa R would make sure I am safe in our small abode. He always looked out for me. Papa R is a true servant of God, he is very active at the house of worship, he leads his family to serve in the house of worship. He is a strong foundation to my life and he have touched many lives with his kindness, generosity, and faith.

Some of you may know that his wife, Maribeth Andal, has been a stay at home mom for many years. We are asking for funds to help support his chemotherapy costs, hospital bills, and with helping our mom get her feet off the ground. We are beyond grateful to everyone who have already reached out.
