Help with the added cost due to chemo

Hello everyone, my name is Stephanie, December 17th 2024, after months of not feeling well and low red blood cells and back and forth to the hospital I went into the Emergency Room with really bad pain in my stomach and vomitting.

I then found out I have stage 3 or 4 Colon Cancer and needed emergen

cy surgery that night to have the tumor on my colon removed because it was pushing on my bowels and they thought it perfurated and I received 4 blood transfusion.

I am waiting to meet my Cancer specialist on tuesday to confirm if it is stage 3 or 4 as it has travelled to my liver and my lung but I do know that I am starting chemo very soon as it is already booked.

Though I am glad my treatment will be in Cornwall we have so much back and forth to Ottawa for a number of tests, follow ups and consultations with numerous specialist, along with my spouse taking time off to help me when needed and the expense of added childcare for my appointments and treatments. We are reaching out for assistance, and appreciate any love and support get.
