Help with Tessie's medical bills

Hi, My name is Sheila and I am fundraising for help with unexpected medical expenses for my daughter Linda Kamp-Davis and son in law Seth Davis' dog, Tessie.

They have 2 dogs, Junior and Tessie. Tessie has been in and out of the veterinary hospital this past week with some serious issues and it has caused quite a hardship financially.

She had a dental appt. and had a lot of teeth pulled, this was over 1,400. Shortly after that, she started getting weaker, wasn't eating or drinking, sleeping all of the time. They took her to the vet, they gave her iv fluids there and ran tests and scans. Kept her overnight, another $1,335. They couldn't see anything on the scans even after repeating a second time, but the doctor was fairly sure there was a tumor somewhere. They sent her home after hydrating her but she soon was doing even worse, so they took her back. Doctors did emergency exploratory surgery, another $2050. They found the tumor and removed it, sent it for biopsy. She seemed to be doing somewhat better and then went down hill again. She had a seizure, probably caused by the antibiotic they gave her, so last night they were at the emergency vet, another almost $800. She was dehydrated again and they kept her overnight on fluids, then she went to her vet, Kindred Spirits and spent the day there, more fluids and the doctors trying to get the results of her biopsy. Finally got them, She had the equivalent of appendicitis and it was leaking into her stomach.

Poor sweet little girl :-( She is the sweetest, most loving dog.

This is not even all of the bills. They don't even have the bill yet for her spending the day at her vet, after leaving the emergency vet, and there are follow up tests and scans coming as well. Hopefully she will start getting much better now. They have gotten a little help from a couple of family members so far but nothing significant. We don't want to cause a hardship for anyone else, so if you don't have money to spare, we understand that for sure. If you are able to help ease this burden, that would mean more than you can imagine.

Kindred Spirits has been amazing and they didn't even bill for all of their services. They didn't bill for one of her scans and one of the nights that Tessie had to stay overnight, Dr. Hanks took her home with him for the night. There were other things that they done to make things easier for Linda and Seth. I just can't think of everything but they are great!
