Hello friends and family. On March 10, 2022 my fiancee, Taylor, was given news that she had a grade 2 Ependymoma in her brain. We were instructed to go home, pack a weekend bag, and head to the ER for emergency brain surgery. The doctors performed a Suboccipital Craniotomy to remove the large tumor from her cerebellum. Ultimately, she spent two weeks in the surgical ICU at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.

We are finally back home and on the road to recovery. Taylor is continuing her rehab, along with working on her speech and vision, in hopes of getting back to normal. Per doctor's orders, she is unable to work and it is uncertain when she will be able to return.
