Hello Friends!

We have a special friend who is in need of our help, Tanya De Silva. We all know that Tanya is the most amazingly sweet, funny, loving, caring and humble person. She is the kind of person who always gives and never asks for anything in return. Tanya is someone who would give you her last dime if you need it. At some time during your friendship with Tanya, you likely experienced her giving generosity whether it was a meal that she prepared for you, a donation that she made to a special cause or just a supportive, compassionate ear. Now Tanya and her family need our help!

From Tanya's calm and cheerful demeanor, you would never know what she is dealing with, but Tanya will undergo Cancer surgery in early June at UCLA. The surgery is very invasive and requires a long recovery time both in and out of the hospital. Tanya will require  chemotherapy and radiation follwing that surgery. Tanya has recently learned that she will not be able to work for several months due to the intensive after care. Her husband Isidro will also need to take time off  work to assist with her recovery. This will take a considerable toll on Tanya and her family, emotionaly, physically, and financially. Tanya needs to focus on getting healthy rather than financial matters which will add strain to an already stressful situation.

Let's all give Tanya the enormous support that she has always been so willing to give to all of us.  Please help to ease some of the stress that Tanya faces.
