PLEASE HELP NIKKO with surgery due to negligent pet sitter

My best friend had a pet sitter come when she was on vacation and the sitter unplugged the cameras so that my friend could not see what was going on in her home! She didn’t read the detailed instructions that were left for her and she opened the dog door while the cats were out roaming around in the house when they were supposed to be locked up! She got home and her cat Nikko, was no where to be found. The pet sitter had not told her he was missing nor did she look for the cat! Her cat was gone for 5 days, after a lot of searching, torment and tears she finally found him last night in really bad shape! He has 4 major fractures in his mouth that are so severe they had to do surgery and wire his mouth shut to keep it together and a fractured shoulder. Her cat is now on a feeding tube, she has to take time off work and the care is going to be very intense! The vet surgery is over $6900 plus the Emergency vet was over $2000. They need help paying for his medical bills! The pet sitter said she is not insured and didn’t seem interested in helping with any of it! The pet sitter also updated her lost post by saying “Nikko is home woot!” As if he was home with no problems! It’s absolutely terrible the negligence of this lady and lack of concern! My friend loves her animals and is devastated! Please help! If everyone just gave a couple of dollars, it would help so much!! I am at a loss on how else to help her! She has been through so much this past week and now the stress of having to take care of her cat that is going to need intense care along with a huge vet bill she can’t afford and time off work!
