On Jan.1, 2022 Steve was diagnosed with Severe pancreatitis. He was admitted to the hospital and underwent dialysis, which was working. Overnight things went for a turn for the worst and his liver and kidneys started failing. His blood pressure was dropping drastically, he developed a 104 degree fever and at any moment he could code. He was maxed out on meds and that and a vent were the only thing keeping him alive. So I had to make the hard decision to keep him hooked up to machines and be in pain and possibly keep coding or to just let him go and end his suffering. Steve L. Young Jr passed away at 3:30p on 01/05/2022.

It all happened so fast and unexpectedly that nothing was prepared. He left behind two kids, Ciarah 11 and Carter 5 and his wife Kayla 38.

Anything can help with regards to hospital bills, funeral arrangements, daily living bills, food and anything else we may need during this very difficult time.
