Hello friends! This is Emma - I'm organizing this campaign for music legend, video maniac, my best bud and lover Stephen Inman.

In January he developed a serious back injury, and after weeks of meds and appointments we finally learned he has a herniated disk (FUN). His L5 S1 is pressing on his sciatic nerve, completely derailing his life. He's been pretty immobile, dealing with pain every day, and hasn't been able to sit, lay down, drive, or really even stand since this disc decided to pop itself out. You may have seen him attempt to play some shows earlier on - fully back-braced out - but we're way past that being an option.

Now the good news: it seems like we may be nearing the end of this terrible injury, with Stephen finally being eligible for surgery!

This process and the months of conservative efforts of physical therapy appointments, doctor visits, imaging, meds, an epidural shot in his spine that we won't speak of ever again, pain management appointments, and now surgery have taken a financial toll. This is with Stephen being lucky enough to have a job with insurance, but there have still been so many out-of-pocket costs. All funds received through here will help cover rent, bills, and any future surprise costs that often come after a procedure goes through insurance.

He goes in for surgery on May 5, with about 4-6 weeks of recovery after, and then HE'LL BE HEALED.

It's difficult to ask for help, especially when it comes to money, when there's so many terrible things going on in the world. It took a lot to get him to agree to put one of these up, but any amount you feel like sharing helps. Everything is a nightmare, but at least we have each other <3
