Hi, my name is Susan and I am about to undergo a stem cell transplant in Houston, Texas to help heal me from myelodysplastic syndrome, which is a blood cancer. I will spend one month or more in the hospital, and have to stay in Houston a total of four months approximately. During that time I will have lodging, food and transportation costs in Houston while also trying to pay medical expenses and all my bills at home.
