Following a seizure, Stacy's breathing and heart stopped. After compressions and shocking her heart, she was transported to Loyola Hospital. Upon arrival, her breathing and heart stopped a second time. After she was stabilized, she had a barrage of testing, including an EEG, which showed severe brain damage. She was on a ventilator during this process. We removed the tube on Thursday, May 7th. She was breathing on her own, but succumbed on Friday, May 8th at 1:04 PM. Ironically, my birthday is October 4th, 10-4. I'm struggling to pay for a basic viewing and cremation at the "family" funeral home as I have several family members and a few friends that had their services provided there.

The funds will help cover funeral home costs, cremation, pickup of remains from the hospital, embalming, a four-hour visitation, and any other related fees. Flowers, urn, and sign-in book and prayer card aren't included.
