Most of you know that I’m the crazy dog lady and my dogs are like my kids. This evening after work I came home and let them all out in the fenced in back yard. Miss Sophie pushed under the fence and ended up getting hit by a car. I took her to the emergency animal hospital immediately. She has a broken front leg along with some cuts on both of her legs. I need to consult with an orthopedic vet for surgery. Living pay ck to pay ck I don’t have a savings for these type of emergencies. The ER bill was $2200 alone. If they decide she needs surgery it will be another $3500-$5000. I’m not one to ask for help, ever, so this is killing me to do this, but like I said before she’s part of my family.
